My acne is getting a lot more under control, thanks to Proactive, or so I think. I do however have a lot of scars, which make me look like I still have a ton of acne. I need a good product, preferebly under $20, that i can purchase at the store.Acne scar solutions and no shine would also be helpful. Basicly anything to make my bad skin look good!

You can try natural home remedies or cosmetic surgeries.
Here are some remedies you can make at home:
# Smear Vitamin E Oil Caplets on the scarred area.
# Smear some tea tree oil on the scar to help it heal faster.
# Put 1-2 drops of lavender essential oil on a cotton ball and apply on scar.
# Blanch green tea, soak a cotton ball and apply on the scar to help it heal.
# Mix Aloe Vera and vitamin E gel caplets and apply to the scar.
For around 10-12 bucks Revlon makes a foundation called Colorstay that hides everything. I have the same problem and I couldn’t go without it.
hm, if you mean makeup wise, a oil-control formula would be good. I use Covergirl fresh complexion oil control makeup. You just brush it on, and a lot of skin imperfections go away.
Unfortunately, treating acne scars can get quite expensive. Here’s a list of treatments commonly used:
There are several forms of treatment for acne scars in current usage.
Dermabrasion is a cosmetic medical procedure in which the surface of the skin is removed by abrasion (sanding). It is used to remove sun-damaged skin and to remove or lessen scars and dark spots on the skin. The procedure is very painful and usually requires a general anaesthetic or twilight anaesthesia, in which the patient is still partly conscious [1] Afterward, the skin is very red and raw-looking, and it takes several months for the skin to regrow and heal. Dermabrasion is useful for scar removal when the scar is raised above the surrounding skin, but is less effective with sunken scars.
In the past, dermabrasion was done using a small, sterilized, electric sander. In the past decade, it has become more common to use a CO2 or Erbium:YAG laser. Laser dermabrasion is much easier to control, much easier to gauge, and is practically bloodless compared to classic dermabrasion.
Laser resurfacing
Chemical peels
Punch techniques
Subcision is a process used to treat deep rolling scars left behind by acne or other skin diseases. Essentially the process involves separating the skin tissue in the affected area from the deeper scar tissue. This allows the blood to pool under the affected area, eventually causing the deep rolling scar to level off with the rest of the skin area. Once the skin has leveled, treatments such as laser resurfacing, microdermabrasion or chemical peels can be used to smooth out the scarred tissue.
Neutragena powder foundation and powder(loose or compact). It’s good for problem skin, covers good, and it’s light so your face can breath.Regular foundation(even oil-free)will clog pores and cause problem skin to have more problems. You can find it anywhere between $8 and $10.
Hey…I have the same problem. Its great to hear that proactiv is working for you cuz it never worked for me and i have spent over 200 dollars on buying those kits….i totally regret it now….anyways, i just wash my face with Clean and Clear Continuous Acne Control Wash and it works great….stay away from too many chemicals cuz it they harm your face instead of helping it…..if not that, use the Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturizer….its in a white bottle with a purple cap…..i hope you the best of luck….
Soap would be the best answer. Soap cleans it all. If you can’t let it go away with soap, then use Clearasil.
Emani Pressed Mineral Foundation

yay I like this question because i had the same problem. the only way to really fix it is to spend a little more then 20 dollars but it will be well worth it. have you ever herd of mac cosmetics? they make two things i use as a ritual. one is a primer. it is like a latex that you put on your face and it fills in any scars and evens out any bumps. the primer will make you skin feel an look so soft!! it also bonds your cover up to your face. (the primer is almost like having a new layer of skin) mac makes and all over body concealer witch is what i prefer to use because you get a very big bottle that last a long time and it is not heavy on your skin so it works well with the primer. so i guess you could get any concealer you want but the primer is KEY!
go to the web site sheer coverage. the make is really go and covers up everthing it cames with a dvd that helps you go this. trust me it works. i love it.
