Product Description

Level 1) Glycolic/35, Lactic/35, Salicylic/20

Level 2) Glycolac/60, Lactic/50 - Twice as strong as L1

Level 3) Glycolic/50, Lactic/70, BHA+, HQ+ - Twice as strong as L2

Choosing a Peel:

Glycolic: stimulates collagen growth more effectively than any of the other peels. It's small molecule allows it to slip beneath the epidermis to reach the collagen fibers below and results in 15%-25%  thickening over 12 weeks. Glycolic acid generally causes little or no visible peeling.

Lactic: works on the surface of the skin to treat tone, texture, and pigmentation. The Lactic acid molecule works to pull moisture into the cells, and exfoliate surface cells which helps to perfect the skin's surface and restore the skin's natural glow.

Glycolac: With a combination of Glycolic (25%) with Lactic (35%), it provides hydration and tone improvements of the Lactic, with the increased collagen stimulation of the glycolic. It is generally well tolerated because the lactic and glycolic work on different levels or the skin.

Salicylic: a great kertolytic which means it helps loosen the bonds between skin cells to promote exfoliating. It is the only hydroxy acid which is oil soluble which allows it to penetrate into clogged pores. It can be used more frequently than the other peels without must risk for irritation.

BHA+: Hands down the best peel for acne and oily skin. You should expect some visible flaking of the skin 2 days after using the peel. This will help with active acne blemishes as well as old acne marks, and a variety of other skin problems.

HQ+: This peel is best for pigmentation and acne scarring. Similar to our BHA+ peel, with added ingredients which to help to fade pigmentation differences and even skin tone. If you suffer from old acne marks, age spots, or melasma, this peel will be the most effective in helping you.

If you know your skin very well, and you are comfortable being patient as you try very small increments of time testing this product on your skin each time, and make sure to give yourself a little break in between, it will absolutely make a powerful, noticeable difference in your skin's appearance. It smooths out discoloration, fine lines, and gives it a plump, baby smooth feel. About 3-5 days after each use, my face looked delightfully younger and brighter. Now having said this, remember, this is an acid and if you are not patient, and do not follow the directions until you know how it will affect your skin, you can burn your skin. I have extremely sensitive skin, but testing slowly, I have had not experienced any problems other than some pinkness and tingling for about an hour after I have used it. This company's products have been consistent, and of high quality. I highly recommend theirs if you plan to try this out. One more note, read up on the different acids, Lactic acid is the better all around acid for minimizing reactions, it is easier on the skin. Glycolics and others go deeper and can have a more pronounced effect, but are stronger and harder to do yourself. Be sure to talk to a professional and get a recommendation on the type of acid for the benefit you want to achieve before you take the plunge.

In addition, using an emu oil after the peel like the one I highly recommend from Longview Farms, is an unbelievable skin soother/neutralizer. When I use this after the peel, my sensitive skin is moisturized, balanced, and refreshed. I look years younger every time I use it!

Reviewer: kt,
I am 43 and have fair/English/Irish skin. I tan easily but am prone to ruddiness, which may be early roseacea. I started with 50% lactic acid, which I still use on my chest 1-2 times per week because the 70% makes me break out for a day or so. My face can tolerate the 70% just fine, and it makes my skin even, tight and glowing, without being dry. I love this company, they always ship very fast and often include a small sample of something. Last time they included a small salycilic acid, which they recommend one day before the lactic acid peel. I tried this, but it seems to dry me out more, so I don't do it that often. Overall I love this product and company. I have ordered several times from them now and they are a winner!

I love Lactic peel, my daughter and I use it once a week. Me and my 13 have started using the Salicylic Acid during the week. I let me 13 year old use this on her spots on blackheads only. Followed by a little vitamin e capsule / a moisture cream/ clearsail cream. Use one or there other. Her face is looking great, she has black heads on nose and cheeks, bumps, spots and acne marks. Her skin is smother now and marks are fading. During the day we just use the sunshine cream on our face. I have tried Pro Active but it didn't work for because she would not use it as directed. We use Witch Hazel for a toner and baking soda for a neutralizer. Some days I let her wash her face at night only.
